Farmington Fresh Cherries are highly susceptible to weather in the spring. A cherry program is truly at the mercy of Mother Nature.  We consistently begin the season with the Brooks variety and continue with the Tulare, Chelan Varieties, and a few other newer varieties, then comes the pride of California Cherry deal. Bing Cherries are still the most requested variety. Farmington will finish the season in mid-June with the Rainier variety, which is the white-fleshed cherry and widely regarded as the premium-niche variety.
